What would you like to do with us?
Please fill in and submit the form on this page and we'll let you know about our first virtual meetings. Don't worry, there's no obligation and you can opt in or out at any time. (You will be able to take part in our virtual meetings with any smartphone, tablet or computer, as long as you can access the internet.)
Also remember, you don't need any experience, just a desire to help make a new production, meet new and different people, learn a bit and have some fun!
Rehearsals and meetings will be online until things improve. Then, when it's safe, we will rehearse evenings and weekends. The production will be a celebration of life in West London and will run for 6 performances in winter 2020. (Or Spring 2021 if we have to!)
There will be no charge for company members - if our new crowdfunding campaign is successful, that and box office income will pay for top theatre professionals to teach you.
The idea of the People's Company is that at the end of the production, we have all been enriched in terms of experience and knowledge.
PROFESSIONAL THEATRE WORKERS... if you are a professional and finding things difficult, please register too. (In confidence) We may be able to offer yousome paid online workshops.
We will not share ANYONES information with anyone else.
Please Help us Fundraise to make this project happen.
I would like to learn more about...
We did, then didn't, Crowdfund our startup!
It was all or nothing funding and people like Sir Derek Jacobi, West End producers Peter Wilson and Trish Wadley, comedian Arthur Smith, journos Lynne Gardner and Hilly Janes, actors, including Morfydd Clark, (Mina from BBC's 'Dracula' and forthcoming 'Lord of The Rings') Rebecca Raybone, (Doctors, Monsignor Renard, Herry Wainthrop Investigates, etc) and Marc Elliot (EastEnders, Holby City) amongst others, have all contributed or supported the idea. We raised 101% of our target! But sadly and very frustratingly, a last minute pledge to our SpaceHive campaign was not processed in time, so we are having to fundraise again.
In these difficult times, even if you can't afford a penny, it would be great if you could tell everyone you think what we do is a good idea and go to our SpaceHive Page and 'like' us! And maybe you could organise a fundraiser or even make a donation! The minimum donation is just £2 and would make a huge difference.
